In which we Rope Drop Magic Kingdom

 Despite the early night we slept in till around 5.30 and set off to Rope Drop Magic Kingdom. This involves getting there in the first wave.

Notable Events

Vicky was pulled over for a full body search as we entered Magic Kingdom. She maintains it was the lady behind coming in too close to her, as she was holding her umbrella and power pack out in front of her. We all know this is essential on entering the parks. I am beginning to wonder though. 

The lid came off my refillable resort cup while I had it tucked beside me on Space Mountain. No idea where it went. Presumably down the hole in the middle. I tried to stem the tide with my hand but to no avail, and exited the ride soaked in Cola.

The magic bands proved a great success. Not only do they open the room door, get you into all the parks, and pay for all your eating and shopping, but they light up at random times. For instance, half way around Space Mountain.

We are really trying with the dining plan, but, after two days, I feel we will be defeated.

I was expecting rudeness and queue jumping, but quite the opposite. Everyone has been so polite! This even evolved into a couple of polite-offs.

We sat outside for the salad and burger after we had got back to the hotel and a huge storm came over. We waited a while but, when it didn’t pass, we ran the short distance to our room in the heavy rain and got absolutely soaked. Vickys right, Kathy would have hated it!
